As of August 2009, the option now exists for career service members to transfer some or all of their Post 9-11 GI Bill benefits to their dependents. Before a dependent can apply for these benefits, the service member must apply with the Department of Defense for a transfer of eligibility (TEB). You can complete the application online with U.S. Department of Defense.

Complete the UF Enrollment Certification Request.
Student's completing this form before the fee payment deadline will be placed on tuition deferment. It is the student's responsibility to ensure tuition and fees are paid by the deadline.
Submit a copy of the certificate of eligibility to the Veterans Services Office.
Ensure copies of official transcripts from all previous institutions attended have been submitted to the UF Office of Admissions. This includes a copy of your Joint Services Transcript.

Complete the UF Enrollment Certification Request every term you are requesting to utilize your VA educational benefits. This form is available online one month before the beginning of every term. If you need to update any of the information on the form after it has been submitted, contact the Veterans Services office. Do not submit an additional form.
