Activate Your Benefits with VA

• VA.gov is the online portal you will use to request to activate your VA Educational Benefit with the Department of Veteran Affairs.
• This step should be completed after admittance but prior to course registration.
• If you have previously filed a claim for educational benefits, use VA.gov only if you are filing for a different educational benefit or if you are changing schools or programs under your current benefit type.
